Eurofins Scientific: acquisition in Italy.
(CercleFinance.com) - Eurofins Scientific has announced signing an agreement for the acquisition of Genoma, a provider of clinical diagnostics in Italy.
Subject to the usual regulatory and legal conditions, this deal is expected to be closed in the next few weeks.
In particular, the French group presents the acquired company as a
pioneer of non-invasive prenatal tests in Italy, and a sector leader in
innovative diagnostics tests in oncology.
Genoma employs about 100 people at its two main sites of Rome and Milan,
and generates annual turnover of over 20 million euros. The group did
not disclose the financial terms of the deal.
