Altran: launches Mobile Fronthaul Gateway Solution for 5G
(CercleFinance.com) - Altran has announced that it has created an industry-first disaggregated fronthaul framework based on Intel field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), a solution presented at the Mobile World Congress Los Angeles from 22 to 24 October.
Altran said that this solution, "will enable wireless carriers and network equipment manufacturers (NEMs) to accelerate large-scale 5G fronthaul deployment in a scalable manner."
