Altran: launches strategic plan through to 2022
(CercleFinance.com) - The Altran group today announces the launch of its new strategic plan, called "The High Road, Altran 2022", taking advantage of a fast growing market under the influence of technological disruptions and the digitisation of industries.
According to this plan, the market for engineering services and R&D is expected to grow by about 9% per annum, reaching 240 billion euros by 2022.
Following the acquisition of Aricent, Altran says that it is betting on high-tech sectors that benefit from high growth and its leading position to accelerate its growth in North America, strengthen its edge in Europe and set up a selective expansion program in Asia. Altran also intends to exploit customers' different needs through distinct ER&D, "mainstream", industrialised and high value-added service models.
