Latécoère: inaugurates a new production plant
(CercleFinance.com) - Latécoère today announces that it has inaugurated its brand new factory for metallic elementary parts, based in Toulouse-Montredon.
The aeronautical equipment manufacturer says that in the space of 10 months it has built a digitised, connected and automated 4.0 plant of the future, which places the world leader in avionic furniture and aircraft doors in a strategy of regaining its industrial stance at time when the aeronautical sector is undergoing profound changes.
Eventually set to have a team of 150 employees in the future, the group aims to produce 500,000 to 600,000 parts per year on this site by 2020, which has been labelled a showcase for the industry of the future by l'Alliance Industrie du Futur.
