Vicat: 2020 earnings up 10.7%
(CercleFinance.com) - Vicat believes that it achieved a solid operatiing performance in 2020 in an extraordinary context.
The cement manufacturer's consolidated sales reached 2.8 billion euros over the year, up 5.5% LFL compared to the previous year.
At the same time, EBITDA rose from 526 million euros to 557 million euros up 10.1% LFL. Net income, group share increased by 10.7% LFL to 156 million euros.
For 2021, Vicat announces that it expects to increase capex from 2020 at around 365 million euros.
The company expects LFL growth in FY EBITDA. Of course, this forecast will probably be modified over the year, depending on the pandemic and its impact on macroeconomic and sector conditions where it operates, the group said.
