Vicat: H1 2018 earnings up 47%
(CercleFinance.com) - Vicat has published H1 2018 net income, group share that is up 47.
2% at 59 million euros, with an EBITDA margin that rose from 15.1% to 15.4%.
The building materials group's sales reached 1,281 million euros over the period, up 2.7% as reported and up 9.6% in organic terms, thanks to growth in all areas, apart from Egypt and Italy.
For FY 2018, Vicat's main target is to improve its operating profitability, particularly through implementing an upbeat, albeit balanced, commercial policy, while continuing to optimise production costs.
