Air France-KLM: completes repayment of State-guaranteed loan
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM announced yesterday that it has completed the full repayment of its loan guaranteed by the French State (PGE).
Air France-KLM has fully repaid the remaining 2.5 billion euros of the initial 4 billion euro loan guaranteed by the French State, granted during the Covid-19 crisis.
The Group's strong cash position, combined with the proceeds from the January 2023 issuance of a E1 billion Sustainability Bond, has enabled the Group to accelerate and close the full repayment of the outstanding PGE.
