Air France: to order 50 to 70 A220 planes, according to JDD
(CercleFinance.com) - According to an article published yesterday in the Journal du Dimanche (JDD), tomorrow, Tuesday, Air France's board of directors is set to validate a firm order of between 50 and 70 Airbus A220 aircraft, with an option to buy more of these planes.
Although labeled "Airbus" the JDD says that the A220 are not produced in France or Europe. They will actually leave Bombardier's plants, because they are the old C-Series of the Canadian group, which Airbus took control of a year ago.
Remember that Air France-KLM will announce its quarterly results on Wednesday this week.
