Air France-KLM: exchange of ordered planes
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France and KLM announce that they will exchange their remaining firm orders of Boeing 787 and Airbus A350, which will enable them to make efficiency gains through the harmonisation and the growth of similar aircraft fleets.
The implementation of this exchange means that over the period 2021-2023, the remaining six Boeing 787s ordered for Air France will be transferred to KLM, and the seven Airbus A350-900s that are currently on order for KLM, will be transferred to Air France.
Alongside this operation, which aims to optimise long-haul fleets, all options concerning the development of Air France's fleet within the group are currently under consideration, in coordination with all stakeholders.
