Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 3.9% in December
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced passenger traffic that is up 3.
9% in December 2018, based on capacity that is up 4.4%, which has led to a 0.4-point slip in its load factor to 85.7%.
Including the Franco-Dutch group's "low cost" airline, Transavia (+11.6%), it transported 7.7 million (+3.6%) in December. For the first time, the company transported more than 100 million passengers over a year in 2018.
Meanwhile, the group's cargo traffic increased by 1.4% last month, based on a capacity that is down 0.1%, which resulted in a load factor that is up one point at 63.4%.
