Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 3.3% in September
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced passenger traffic that is up 3.
3% in September, based on capacity that is up 3%, which has led to a 0.2-point improvement in its load factor to 88.6%.
The airline announced having transported 7.5 million passengers (+4.1%) under its Air France, KLM and HOP! (+1.8%) banners. Including its low cost division Transavia, 9.1 million people travelled with the group (+2.7%).
Meanwhile, the group's cargo traffic rose by 1.5%, based on a capacity that is down 0.2%, which resulted in a load factor that is up one point at 60.1%.
