Air France-KLM: share falls - more strike action ahead

(CercleFinance.com) - The Air France-KLM share has fallen sharply on Monday, finishing trading down over 4%, the sharpest faller in the SBF 120.

The reason behind this is the threat of further strike action, if the future CEO does not resume negotiations with the trade unions. Philippe Evain, president of the SNPL (national union of airline pilots) has indeed said in Le Parisien this weekend that pilots were ready to go on strike for another 15 days if the new boss did not renew wage negotiations.

Remember that according to the latest rumours, Benjamin Smith, the current number 2 at Air Canada, will would take over over from Jean-Marc Janaillac.
