Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 1.5% in July
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced passenger traffic that is up 1.
5% in July, based on capacity that is up 1.4%, which has led to a 0.1-point improvement in its load factor to 90.1%.
The airline announced having transported 8.1 million passengers (+1.5%) under its Air France, KLM and HOP! banners. Capacity increased by less than expected, due to temporary planning irregularities due to delays in pilot training following strike action.
Meanwhile, the Franco-Dutch group's low cost airline, Transavia, saw its traffic increase by 4.7% last month, with 1.7 million passengers transported (+2.7%), while cargo traffic rose 4.6%.
