Air France-KLM: passenger traffic up 3.3% in August.
(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM has announced passenger traffic that rose by 3.
3% in August, based on capacity that is up 1.5%, which has resulted in a 1.5-point improvement in its load factor to 89.6%.
The airline said that it transported some 7.6 million passengers (+5.6%) under its Air France, KLM and Hop! banners, and boasts revenue per seat kilometre offered (RSKO), excluding FX factors, that is up sharply relative to August 2016.
Meanwhile, the Franco-Dutch group's low cost division, Transavia, saw its traffic increase 4.4%, with 1.7 million passengers carried (+3%), while cargo traffic increased by 1.2%.
