Air France-KLM: shareholders support strategy.
(CercleFinance.com) - Announced jointly at the end of July, the upcoming entries of Delta Airlines and China Eastern into Air France-KLM's capital will indeed go ahead.
The shareholders of the Franco-Dutch carrier voted overwhelmingly in favor of this operation, which will occur in 2018 and will be part of an overall capital increase of 751 million euros.
Delta Airlines and China Eastern will each acquire 10% of Air France-KLM's capital, which itself will buy 31% of the capital of Virgin Atlantic of Virgin Group for around 220 million pounds.
