Kone: wins escalator order in North Carolina
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone said on Wednesday it has won an order for all elevators for a casino resort in North Carolina, although did not unveil the value of the deal.
Kone has won an order to provide 16 elevators for Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, located in Cherokee, a new conference center and resort that will have over 700 hotel rooms in a 19-story tower.
The facility includes retail and dining facilities, a pool and fitness center and a 2,000-place car parking area.
Elevator installations are planned to start in August, with the project set to be completed in 2021, Kone said.
