Kone: wins order for Shanghai's newest metro line
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone said on Tuesday that it has won an order for 203 escalators and 65 elevators for Shanghai's newest metro line, but did not unveil the deal value.
The Shanghai metro line 15 will be 42 kilometres in length and have 30 underground stations. Kone will be equipping 16 stations.
Installations are expected to be completed in 2020, Kone said.
