Kone: wins order for high-rise buildings in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone said on Tuesday that it has won an order to equip a premium high-rise office development in Shenzhen, southern China.
Kone will equip the building with energy-efficient solutions, including 47 MiniSpace elevators, 9 MonoSpace elevators and 10 TravelMaster escalators, it said.
The 280,000 square metre center - located in an area that has been referred to as "China's Silicon Valley" - will include two office buildings rising to some 209 metres and 48 floors, and 168 metres and 39 floors respectively.
The project is due to be completed in 2020.
