Kone: wins escalator and elevator order in Nashville
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish lift maker Kone said on Thursday that it has won an order to provide elevators and escalators for a mixed-use project in downtown Nashville, although did not unveil the value of this deal.
The project consists of a 34-story residential tower, 25-story office tower, with a 22,000 square metre area for shopping and dining, a renovated conference centre and a museum dedicated to Africo-American music.
Kone will provide 12 passenger elevators (including six high-speed passenger elevators), 12 MonoSpace elevators, and 12 escalators.
The project is set to be complete in the spring of 2020.
