Nokia: opens dedicated cyber security facility in Texas
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia today announced the launch of its Advanced Security Testing and Research (ASTaR) lab in Dallas, Texas, the first facility in the US that is solely dedicated to cyber security and end-to-end 5G testing.
ASTaR will use and develop state-of-the-art tools and techniques to assess the resilience and security of 5G networks. These results will then be used to address emerging security threats.
The lab's researchers will also work with the cyber security community to identify emerging threat vectors and potential vulnerabilities.
Despite this, Nokia shares don't seem to be a very safe bet today - down almost 3% this afternonn.
