Nokia: partners Elisa in private mobile networks
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia is teaming up with Finnish telco Elisa on private mobile networking for specific markets such as IoT, machine learning and AI for automation.
The companies said they will collaborate on 5G offerings to help Finnish businesses accelerate digitalization and adopt Industry 4.0 technologies to boost their productivity.
Under the deal, Nokia and Elisa will use radio network infrastructure to deploy industrial private networks, initially focusing on markets such as maritime and ports, mining, manufacturing, logistics and utilities.
