Nokia: to provide broadband Internet access to Nigeria
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia will provide the Nigerian mobile operator Tizeti with a Long Term Evolution (LTE) fixed wireless access solution for broadband Internet services in Nigeria.
This will pave the way for an easier migration to 5G fixed wireless access in the future, the group says.
The facility will also enable the provision of high quality Internet services to over one million subscribers in Port Harcourt, Edo and Ogun in Nigeria.
"Nokia's AirScale Base Stations ensure high-quality connectivity and coverage and enables Tizeti to evolve the network in line with customer demand," the company said.
