Nokia: selected by SDN Communications in the US
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia announced on Tuesday that it has been selected by SDN Communications to prepare the US group for the marketing of 5G services by automating its networks.
The Finnish telecom equipment maker explains that it has been asked to set up a "multilayer" platform for the management and control of SDN's IP and optical networks in order to improve their efficiency and performance.
SDN Communications' fiber-optic network covers South Dakota and Minnesota.
