Nokia: to discontinue chief operating officer role
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia said late on Monday that it would discontinue the chief operating officer role, resulting in its current COO, Joerg Erlemeier, stepping down from the company.
The Finnish company - which is in the midst of a vast transition with the rise of 5G technology - said the COO's responsibilities will be distributed to other Nokia executives.
The Nokia share is currently up 0.5% on Euronext Paris.
