Nokia: opens new 5G lab at Espoo headquarters
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia is opening a lab at its global headquarters in Espoo, showcasing its portfolio of 5G equipment, software and services.
The lab will show Nokia's customers, i.e. communications service providers, enterprises and infrastructure providers, demonstrations of Nokia technologies in areas such as hardware, and full network slicing, the company said.
The Espoo Lab will also provide an innovation platform for internal research, prototype development and testing, Nokia said.
The "Future X Lab" is an extension of a lab opened last year at Nokia Bell Labs' headquarters in Murray Hill, New Jersey.
