Nokia: promotes Motley as president of fixed networks unit
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish telecoms equipment maker Nokia appointed Sandra Motley, a former executive at AT&T Bell, as president of its fixed networks business unit, effective 1 January 2019.
Motley, who joined Nokia in 2016, succeeds Federico Guillen, who has been named president of customer operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and for the Asia Pacific region, also effective tomorrow, Nokia said.
A telecommunications professional with experience in business development, marketing, and research, Motley started her career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, and held a range of R&D and sales leadership positions at Alcatel-Lucent in both fixed and wireless businesses, the group said.
