Nokia: wins private LTE network deal with Finnish port
(CercleFinance.com) - Telecom equipment maker Nokia has won a deal to supply a private LTE network to the Port of HaminaKotka, in southern Finland, the company said on Wednesday.
The low-latency network enables wirelessly connected cameras on cranes to provide real-time video streaming and analytics, as well as business-critical connectivity for trucks, sensors and workers, Nokia said.
The deal is the most recent result from the partnership with the Finnish provider of private LTE networks Ukkoverkot, the gear maker said.
