Nokia: wins efficiency deal from Hutchison 3 Indonesia
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia is helping telecommunication operator Hutchison 3 Indonesia to increase the efficiency of its LTE network, the Finnish company said.
The use of Nokia's performance management solution has led to a 17% increase in the operator's network efficiency, meaning faster data speeds and a higher level of mobile broadband, the telecoms equipment maker said.
Faced with high growth in subscribers and traffic, Hutchison 3 Indonesia wants to increase service quality, especially for younger subscribers, who are using bandwidth-hungry applications, such as video and mobile gaming, Nokia said.
