Nokia: launches new security services
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia said on Wednesday that it will launch new managed services to expand on the growing cyber security market.
The first product, named "New Security Risk Index", will analyse security gaps across mobile, IP and fixed networks, suggesting performance improvements, while the "Managed Security Service" will provide attack prevention, detection, response and recovery.
The Finnish company said it plans to address rising security threats to telecom networks, saying that virtualised systems will introduce new vulnerabilities.
Nokia also said that operators will be able to white label its managed security services to enterprises under their own brand, offering revenue potential.
