Nokia: to bring 5G to Japan's NTT Docomo in 2020
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has signed an agreement with NTT Docomo to supply Japan's largest mobile operator with 5G products and have 5G service operational by 2020.
The Finnish company said it has been working hard in recent months to begin preparations for NTT Docomo's launch and ensure a smooth evolution from 4G/LTE.
For its part, NTT said it has been collaborating with partners on 5G technology and trials since 2014.
