Nokia: denies rumors of Juniper Networks bid.
(CercleFinance.com) - Finnish telecommunications gear maker Nokia said rumours about the company's interest in buying US rival Juniper Networks are unfounded.
In a press release this morning, the firm said that it is not currently in talks with Juniper Networks with a view to acquiring the California-based company, nor is it preparing an offer.
Nokia said that while it does not typically comment on market rumours, it had to make a statement today, given the "specificity" of press reports.
