(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has been chosen by Fujitsu to expand the Japanese electronics company's infrastructure as a service (IaaS) platform, the world's largest OpenStack cloud service, the Finnish firm said on Wednesday.
Nokia's software-defined network (SDN) venture, Nuage Networks, has been selected to support the expansion of Fujitsu's enterprise cloud service, named "K5."
The combination of OpenStack and the Nuage Networks virtualized services platform (VSP) intends to provide Fujitsu's enterprise customers with scalable and highly available virtual networks.
