Nokia: to deploy broadband solution for Zain Saudi Arabia.
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia is going to provide Zain Saudi Arabia with a solution that will enable the telecom operator to re-use its existing networks to meet growing broadband demand.
The Finnish telecom group said that the deployment of the "FastMile" solution follows a successful trial of the technology, which recorded speeds of 20 Mbps, providing 4G macro network coverage.
The solution's coverage scope is up to 12 times larger and three times the speed compared to standard mobile broadband networks.
