Nokia: new addition to monetization portfolio.
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia said it will launch new monetization software to help existing telecom customers to modernize their operation platforms.
The 5G-ready cloud solution will give service providers access to integrated real-time charging, policy control and customer engagement capabilities, the Finnish company said.
The "Nokia Smart Plan Suite" software also links providers with partner ecosystems to support smart ads, sponsored data and content, Nokia added.
In addition, the solution may be integrated into webscale offerings, such as Google's Mobile Data Plan Sharing API, to provide in-application offerings and deliver a better experience for mobile subscribers.
Nokia also said it has signed an agreement with Singapore's St Luke's Eldercare to test its proprietary video analytics technology to help prevent falls amongst the elderly population.
