Nokia: will modernise Ukkoverkot network in Finland.
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that it will completely revamp the national LTE (long-term evolution) network of Ukkoverkot, a Finnish private network operator offering mobile data communication services.
Ukkoverkot's clients include infrastructure operators, the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) market, public security authorities, the maritime sector, as well as residents and companies in remote areas.
The new network will be powered by Nokia's LTE solution, which provides the network with higher quality, capacity, security and reliability required for such specialised use cases, the telecom equipment manufacturer said.
