(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday morning Nokia announced an extension of its comprehensive portfolio of ultra-high speed technology products and solutions to provide operators with greater flexibility to meet consumer demand and improve mobile network performance in the evolution towards 5G.
The group will expand its portfolio of distributed AirScale radiofrequency heads, hence enabling operators to increase maximum performance and cell capacity, while reducing space requirements on cell sites via the new single- and dual-band radio solutions FDD-LTE and TD-LTE.
These solutions rely on carrier aggregation technologies, MIMO 4x4 and Beamforming 8x4. They also respond to higher demand to transmit power, extend support for frequency bands, and simplify network deployments.
