Nokia: Russia's MTS extends areas of cooperation.
(CercleFinance.com) - Russia's biggest mobile phone operator MTS has extended its cooperation with Nokia to promote new digital products and services.
Both companies have said that they plan to develop new solutions for B2B and B2C customers in such areas as IoT, cloud technologies, digital medicine, e-commerce, augmented and virtual reality, convergent 5G networks.
This agreement supplements the MTS-Nokia agreement signed in May 2016 about cooperation in 5G network technologies in Russia.
As a reminder, the companies plan to establish a 5G pilot scheme in 2018 for the 2018 World Cup.
