Repsol: fourth-quarter output up 1.1%
(CercleFinance.com) - Spanish oil firm Repsol produced 730,000 barrels of crude oil per day in the fourth quarter, up 1.
1% from the 722,000 barrels produced in the fourth quarter of 2018, it said in a trading statement on Thursday.
In comparison, analysts at UBS were expecting 743,000 barrels of oil per day.
At the same time, the group announced an average Brent price of 63.1 dollars per barrel, above the 62 dollars of the previous quarter but below the 68.8 dollars in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Repsol shares, which have fallen 3.8% so far this year, were down 1.4% at 13.6 euros, underperforming a 0.4% drop in Spain's blue chip index.
