Repsol: buys 17% stake in Spanish 3D startup
(CercleFinance.com) - Spanish oil company Repsol has bought a 17% stake in Recreus, a Spanish startup that makes flexible and rigid thermoplastic filaments for 3D printing.
Repsol's investment will enable the firm, which was created in 2013 by entrepreneur Ignacio Garcia, to accelerate R&D and improve its positioning on the market, Repsol said.
The deal was made through Repsol Corporate Venturing, which has been granted an enveloppe of 85 million euros for the period 2016-2020.
