Grifols: distribution agreement with Beckman Coulter.
(CercleFinance.com) - Spain's Grifols has entered into an exclusive, long-term agreement with US medical diagnostics company Beckman Coulter for the global distribution of its hemostasis instruments, reagents and consumables.
The deal intends to leverage Grifols' strength in manufacturing reliable instruments, based on Beckman Coulter's commercial strength.
Grifols thinks its hemostasis product line complements Beckman Coulter's portfolio of products and services for the laboratory.
Beckman Coulter and Grifols expect the systems under this distribution agreement to be first marketed in Europe as from the start of 2018.
