Almirall: completes photovoltaic facility at Catalonia plant
(CercleFinance.com) - Almirall has completed building a photovoltaic facility located in its pharmaceutical plant in Catalonia, the Spanish drugmaker said on Monday.
The plant - located in Sant Andreu de la Barca - aims to save 12% of the electrical energy consumption from the site, avoiding the emission of more than 479 tons of CO2, the firm said.
This is the second photovoltaic facility that Almirall has built since mid-2017.
