Inditex: record net profit in 2022

6 billion euros in 2022, 18% higher at constant exchange rates than in 2021, driven by sales growth in all geographical areas,
EBITDA will be 8.6 billion euros, up 20% y-o-y.
Meanwhile, EBIT increased 29% to 5.5 billion euros and net profit rose 27% to 4.1 billion euros.
Sales, EBITDA and net profit have reached historic highs, Inditex says, which now intends to focus on four key areas: a unique product proposition, improving the customer experience, sustainability and the talent/commitment of its employees.
For 2023, Inditex anticipates a stable gross margin (+/-50 bp) and plans ordinary investments of around 1.6 billion euros, which will enable it to expand its capacities, obtain efficiency gains and increase its differentiation.
