Siemens Gamesa: share up after Swedish order
(CercleFinance.com) - The Siemens Gamesa share is up in Madrid on Wednesday after the group announced an order for 11 wind turbines from the Swedish company Eolus.
At 11 a.m. the share was up 1.5%, one of the best performers in the IBEX index.
In a statement on Tuesday, Eolus announced that it has signed an agreement with Siemens Gamesa Renewables for the delivery of 11 turbines for three wind farms in southern Sweden, which represent a total capacity of 68 megawatts (MW).
The equipment supply contract for these three projects - to be commissioned in autumn 2023 - is accompanied by a 15-year service agreement.
