Siemens Gamesa: signs 'new' green deal
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa has completed a deal with Societe Generale to convert a 230 million euro guarantee line, as part of the company's third "green" deal so far this year.
The Spanish-based company will use this line for manufacturing onshore and offshore wind turbine generators as part of projects that benefit the environment, address climate change and are socially responsible, it said.
In addition to the 1.25 billion euros arranged with two other banks, Siemens Gamesa has accumulated 1.48 billion euros in green guarantee lines in less than a year.
