Siemens Gamesa: in 'final negotiations' for Dutch contract
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa is in final negotiations to be awarded the contract for offshore wind turbines for two farms being developed in Dutch waters, the company said on Monday.
Pending final developments, the group's turbines could be installed at Vattenfall's HKZ 1&2 project, the world's first zero subsidy offshore wind farm.
The company could also be awarded the contract for additional turbines at the HKZ 3&4 project if this tender is awarded to Swedish utility Vattenfall, subject to final investment decision.
For information, Vattenfall has already received the irrevocable permit for the construction of the HKZ 1&2 project, to be finally completed in 2023.
The Madrid-listed shares of Siemens Gamesa are currently up 2%.
