Siemens Gamesa: wins big order in India
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) announces that it has won a new order in India from ReNew Power, India's largest producer of renewable energy, to power two wind farms in Gujarat and Karnataka.
As part of this contract - one of the largest announced in India - the wind turbine equipment supplier will supply 270 units of SG 2.1-122 turbines, representing a total capacity of 567 MW. Both projects are set to be delivered in the first quarter of 2020.
