Siemens Gamesa: opens new R&D facility in India
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa is opening a new research and development centre in India, one of its three major global R&D hubs, alongside Spain and Denmark.
The wind turbine maker has inaugurated its new centre in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, which will focus on digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Currently employing a total of 500 employees, the group expects to increase the number of employees to 700 by the end of 2019, Siemens Gamesa said.
