Siemens Gamesa: to sell three power plants in Spain
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa said on Wednesday that it plans to sell three photovoltaic power plants in Spain, which will result in a capital gain of approximately one million euros for the current fiscal year.
The wind turbine maker is selling three operational solar photovoltaic plants with an aggregate capacity of 1.2 MW to Aurea Capital, a Madrid-based fund that is specialised in renewable energy and infrastructure.
The plants are located in the Spanish provinces of Huesca, Murcia and Huelva.
Siemens Gamesa did not disclose the specific terms of the deal, although said that the transaction is valued "in line with similar deals" reported in the industry.
