Siemens Gamesa: wins first order in Russia
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa said on Friday that it has won its first order in Russia, in a deal to provide power producer Enel Russia with wind turbines.
The terms of this contract include the delivery, installation and service for 26 turbines at the Azovskaya wind farm, located in southern Russia, which is due to be commissioned in 2020.
This is the first order for Siemens Gamesa in the country and is part of the preliminary agreement signed with Enel in 2017 for the supply of 291 MW at two wind farms in Russia.
This first contract represents the equivalent of 90 MW.
