Siemens Gamesa: wins string of wind turbine orders in France
(CercleFinance.com) - Since October, Siemens Gamesa has piled up orders for the supply of 39 onshore wind turbines for five farms being currently developed in France, the renewable unit of Siemens said on Thursday.
Siemens Gamesa has been selected to supply, transport and install turbines with an aggregate capacity of 104 MW, it said.
All the contracts include servicing agreements for the next 15 to 20 years.
Siemens Gamesa considers France - where it currently ranks as the fourth-largest turbine manufacturer - as one of its strongest and most promising markets.
